Resumo:
Este artigo discute as circunstâncias históricas e sociais que envolveram a atividade de Jesus na Galiléia do século I d.C. Procurando compreender o modo de dominação imposta pelo império romano no território judeu, e como isso afetou o modo de vida dos camponeses de regiões como Nazaré e Cafarnaum, o movimento liderado por Jesus poderá ser visto como uma reação popular à opressão imperial.

Abstract:
This article discusses the historical and social circumstances that involved the action of Jesus in Galilean first century E.C. Searching to understand the way of domination imposed by roman empire in Jewish territory, and how it’s affected the peasant’s life style in regions like Nazareth and Capernaum, the movement of Jesus can will be seen like a popular reaction against the imperial oppression.

Resumo:
Este texto analisa, a partir da literatura dos pesharim, e especialmente de Pesher Habacuc (1QpHab), o tema do sofrimento escatológico, também presente no Documento de Damasco. Tentamos propor alguns elos entre essa tradição e o tema do sofrimento de Jesus na literatura neotestamentária.

Abstract:
This paper analyzes, from the literature of pesharim, and especially Pesher Habakkuk (1QpHab), the eschatological theme of suffering, also present in the Damascus Document. We try to offer some links between this tradition and the theme of Jesus' suffering in the New Testament literature.

Resumo:
o artigo defende que haja uma articulação programática entre Jo 5,1-18 e Jo 9,1-41, que responderia pela intenção narratológica de responder a inquietações específicas da recém-formada comunidade joanina. Expulsos das sinagogas, seus membros recordavam-se de que tanto eles mesmos quanto os judeus que os expulsaram foram testemunhas dos “sinais” que os teriam levado à “fé” em Jesus como messias, de modo que resultava incompreensível que eles tivessem crido e, os demais, não. A resposta se dá na forma da encenação programática dos dois modos histórico-teológicos de portar-se diante de Jesus – dentro da tradição, o que impede a fé, e fora da tradição, o que permite a fé.

Summary:
The paper argues that there is a programmatic articulation between Jo Jo 5,1-18 and 9,1-41, which account for the narratological intention to respond to specific concerns of the newly formed Johannine community. Out of the synagogues, members recalled that both themselves and the Jews who drove them were witnesses of the "signs" that would have led to "faith in Jesus as Messiah, so incomprehensible that it was clear they had believed, and others not. The answer is there in the staging of two programmatic historical and theological ways of behaving before Jesus - in the tradition, which prevents the faith, and outside the tradition, which allows faith.

A Atual pesquisa visa o estudo das relações de identidade no Cristianismo Antigo a partir da recepção de Elementos do Helenismo Religioso. Estas confluências, advindas anteriormente das relações com o Judaísmo da Diáspora, no Egito Ptolomaico (LXX – séc. IV a.C), são consolidadas com a formação geopolítica e religiosa da Expansão do Cristianismo na Ásia Menor, durante o IIo século. Através da exposição de ‘The Religious Context of Early Christianity’ (KLAUS, 2000) abordaremos as vicissitudes da Religião Helênica em mutação

Abstratct:
The Current research seeks the study of the identity relationships in the early Christianity starting from the reception of Elements of the Religious Hellenism. These confluences advents previously of the relationships with the Judaism of Diaspora, in Ptolemaic Egypt (LXX. séc. IV a.C), they are consolidated with the formation geopolitics and religious person of the Expansion of the Christianity in Minor Asia, during IIo Century. Through the exhibition of 'The Religious Context of Early Christianity' (KLAUS, 2000) we will approach Hellenistic’s Religion vicissitudes in mutation between the Philosophy of the Happiness and ‘the Return of the Divine Absolute’ in Gnosticism.

Resumo:
Grupos de críticos de diversas áreas do conhecimento (historiadores, filósofos, teólogos, etc.) expuseram suas argumentadas opiniões sobre o valor dos evangelhos como fonte histórica e de sua utilidade enquanto fonte biográfica para construção de uma Vita de Jesus. Por isso, a intenção deste artigo é apresentar algumas das idéias defendidas pelo criticismo neotestamentário desenvolvidas no sentido de analisar os evangelhos enquanto fonte histórico-biográfica.

Abstract:
Many groups of scholars, belonging to several areas of knowledge (historians, philosophers, theologians, etc..), disclosed their tightly argued opinions on the value of the Gospels as historical sources and their usefulness as a biographical source for the construction of a Vita of Jesus. Therefore, the objective of this article is to present some of the ideas advocated by the New Testament criticism developed to analyze the Gospels as historical and biographical sources.
